First time Dining in here tonight with my family and I can say that the five stars that was given to this place is right on the money. Rico is very warm and welcoming to us especially to my kids. As for the Food, we didn’t have a taste of everything obviously but what we ordered is great. My kids were able to finish their food which is rare and they’re already asking me to come back to this place. Will definitely come back for sure.

Not great. Salsa was watery. Ordered beef fajita quesadillas. Flavorless beef. Not fajita. And most of the menu is pretty expensive. Cheapest thing I saw was 8.99, most expensive 30 or so. However the service was fast, friendly, and it was very well decorated.

We have been long time customers and recently visited for the reopening. The food was amazing as always and the staff was attentive and polite. The restaurant has been remodeled and looks better than ever. I love that they use real cheese in their cheese enchiladas. The quality and value cannot be beat!

Great House Margaritas! I always stop here after a flight from GBIA

Went about a week ago for lunch. It was horrible! Had the fajita plate with a cheese enchilada on top and bra, it was bad. The meat was not seasoned at all and it tasted really old. Idk, it had sort of that refrigerator taste to it. The cheese in the enchilada tasted old as well. 🤢 I understand that they've been shutdown due to the pandemic but if you value your customers and your business as they really do judging from the $20 price tag on the lunch, you should really assure the quality of your food no matter what. My opinion.

Excellent breakfast today!

The food is amazing, the margaritas and guacamole are delicious, the chips and salsa are hot, the service is great and the prices are right. This is now our go to Mexican restaurant when we're in the mood for some good ole traditional Mexican food.

Great places for food and drinks!

This was our first visit to El Jalapeno restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted by a sweet lady who made us feel very welcome. Our server was helpful in describing the meals that I was trying to decide between. I love that she let me know that the steak was not chewy and tough without me even having to ask her. She was right by the way the meat was very tender, flavored well, and delicious. We enjoyed our lunch and we'll definitely be back. I ordered the lunch steak fajitas I think it was called something similar. The salsa is warm and had a bit of a kick to it. I wasn't crazy about it but that's only because I prefer salsa that isn't warm in temperature. It did have a really good flavor to it though. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Definitely Tex-mex not mexican food. Enchilada plate comes with only 2 enchiladas, which I found a little weird since usually it’s 3. The chilaquile breakfast plate comes with no eggs which is also usually not normal. They did mention it’s under new management so that might explain it. Customer service was good food not so much.

We celebrated with 30+ people towards closing and we were the only ones there (9:30pm). Service was still courteous and quick. Knock off 1 star for some forgotten orders but overall a great experience.

Long time favorite for my family

Food aroma makes you hungry in the parking lot. First time going with colleagues and the tables are so close that conversations overlap and you can't hear the person next to you. Otherwise awesome.

Well we have been coming here for over 15 years and I don't know who put this lady in charge but she is rude and we won't he coming here more. We couldn't sit where we wanted to . Waitress was talking to us friendly and she walked by and removed her from us as she was speaking to my kids because of another table . Like that couldn't wait..smh . Please remove this woman if she's going to run this place like this. Never smiled or greeted anyone . Seems upset she has to be there or something. Wonderful food tho ...😪 their best waiter Rico is also no longer there. Smh smh

Breakfast tacos are the best in town!!!!!!!! Their service can't be beat!!!!!!! If you haven't tried EL Jalapeno you are really missing out

The food was disgusting we ordered fajitas and queso the fajitas had smoked sausage in it the queso tasted like velveeta we will never ever eat there again

We placed a togo order for a beef enchilada dinner for my husband. His food was good.I ordered a Taco Salad..$7.85 so simple to make...you would think.😕 90% shredded lettuce out of a bag ( you can tell because of how it taste).. Then a tablespoon of plain rice, a tablespoon of sour cream, a very very small blob of guacamole, a tablespoon of Pico....and about a tablespoon of ground beef. All put into a stale shell. When I called and asked for a new salad in a fresh shell with a little more meat. I was told that's how they make their Taco salads. I said it has 90% lettuce, she said yes, we have to make the bowl look big...I really just wanted another salad but after her arguing with me for several minutes I just said give me my money back...I'll go somewhere else. Her reply ok you do that.We have been eating there for quiet a few years and have had some issues but this is the icing on the cake. We'll find a new place.

We go there all the time it's a fantastic place to take your family and eat very pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anybody, hope you enjoy as we do

Atmosphere is great. Service is great. Most of the food is great. My daughter and i had same dish. My taco was good. Hers was not. It was like the meat was out if two different batches.
